Busy month in review

Sarah at 3 months

I have to admit those first 2 months were not easy. I found myself wondering what I got myself into. It's amazing what sleep can do for you. I have started getting up early and running again and I'm sure my husband and kids appreciate me being less cranky. Sarah has been a joy to have. She is happy and smiling all the time. She also lets a little giggle out here and there. And she is sleeping so much better, not only at night, but at nap time too. She has some pretty chubby cheeks and thighs.

Jump on it
I had some help around for the first day of summer break, so grandma Debbie and I took the kids to jump on it. We all had a blast.

Fruita weekend

This past weekend we went down to Fruita, Co. to visit Riley's parents and grandparents. Riley's grandparents had not seen Sarah yet, so we met half-way at Riley's parent's house. On Thursday Riley and Dee took the kids to Black rock of the Gunnison. On Friday the weather wasn't the greatest so we just hung out at home and watched a movie and played games. On Saturday we went to Highline lake and went fishing and played in the water. On Sunday we took a look at the house that Dee and Debbie are flipping in Grand Junction. We then loaded the truck and our boat up and headed home. It was nice to hang out with the family for a long weekend.

Sarah's blessing day
We were able to bless Sarah on May 31st. Riley gave her a beautiful blessing. She looked adorable in her pretty dress that a friend had made for us. Thanks to our many friends and family that were able to come and celebrate with us.
When the dinner bell rang Sarah was left all alone to hang out in her swing.

Last week of School
Macy and Spencer are finished with school. They both had great years and awesome teachers.

Macy with Mrs. Scott
I didn't get a picture of Macy at the awards assembly because I was recording it, but she got an award for High academic achievement. Macy also participated in field day and won many 1st and 2nd place ribbons, she is pretty fast and her competitive spirit pushes her to do well in both academics and sports.
Spencer had Kindergarten graduation where they sang silly songs and showed us some of the things they learned through out the school year. It was pretty cute.

Hannah is potty trained
We finally convinced Hannah that she needed to go potty on the toilet. She has done awesome with only a few accidents. She has been rewarded with a lot of skittles. We have been planning on getting a swing set this summer, I told Hannah if she started going in the potty that would be her prize. I better start shopping.

Glad you had such a good, busy month! It was fun to see the pictures of all the kids and what they've been up to. See you in a couple of weeks!

Mel, Sarah is so pretty! Sounds like you have been busy. It is amazing what a good nights sleep can do. I am a different person when I get some sleep. Good job on Hannah being potty trained. I cannot get Chloe to go poo in the potty, she is terrified and I have totally bribed her and nothing works. Do you have any good tricks?

That was a fun post, you should do that every time. When would be good to get together?
