Spencer has been accident prone this summer. Poor kid! When we were down in Fruita he about took the pad of his finger off by spinning a bike tire and getting it caught. Then when in Jackson Hole he cut his eye on a BBQ stand. He probably needed stitches but we just used a butterfly band aid and some of this stuff called new skin to keep it clean and water proof. It worked great and has healed nice. The next day he got hit in the head with a bat while watching some kids play baseball. He had a pretty nice goose egg from that. Then a week ago he was playing at his friends house on a slide. They made it into a water slide and were riding sleds down it. Spencer's friend told him to stand up while going down...yes he did it and about broke his arm in the process. He has had to have his arm in a sling for a week now. On our last trip that I haven't written about yet he got eaten alive by about 30 mosquitoes in a half and hour, and got another goose egg on his head. And then yesterday he was playing over at his friends house outside, he must have run over a hornets nest and got stung six times. If you remember a post last September you can guess what the results look like. His eye is swollen shut, he has a fat wrist and ankle and a couple of very itchy stings on his legs. He has had a couple of melt downs because he keeps getting hurt. We are just grateful that it hasn't been worse. Poor kid.

aw, poor kid- Carter had a bad run of accidents a few years ago with 3rd degree burns, broken bones and a dislocation inovlved so it could be worse. He'll be a tougher kid because of it.
Poor guy! I actually started laughing because the list just kept going on and on.
Poor Bence! Now you have to post pictures of him when we can see all his swollen stings...I know he's probably sick of people asking what happened, but just sneak a picture. Please?
What doesn't kill him makes him stronger, right? Too bad the accidents just give moms gray hair!
Ohh..poor guy. I'm with Aundrea..I want to see the swollen stings. It sounds like he's do for some good luck and a fun rest of the summer...accident free. At least Utah doesn't have scorpions to sting him. I guess Az has tons of them. Luckily I haven't seen any yet, but I heard their sting is wicked. Give Bence a big hug for me.
