Kamas Pool
Riley and his dad were busy working on the house that we flipped all this weekend and then he had to work on Monday, so it was up to me to entertain the kids (not that I'm not used to this). I didn't want to hang out at home and hear fighting constantly, so I decided to get them out of the house. On Saturday we went swimming at the Kamas Rec center. They have a really fun indoor pool. We haven't been swimming for a long time. Hannah at first was a little nervous, she had a death grip around my neck for about the first 5 minutes. I took her to the really shallow part of the pool to play, that's when she decided this is fun. From then on I had to keep my eyes on her constantly. She fell a couple of times completely under, when I picked her up she just smiled. I think she has caught the bug for swimming. Spencer and Macy got along great, and had a blast together.

Macy had school off on Monday because of President's day. I had promised her and Spencer that I would take them to the aquarium on President's day a long time ago. Macy never forgets, so thats what we did. It is pretty small, but really cool. Macy loved touching the Sting Rays and and the star fish. One of the Sting Rays scared Macy pretty good when it decided to glide right up the side of the pool. She freaked out. It was dang funny. Spencer just stared at the Shark tank forever. Hannah wanted to run all over the place, but she did think the fish were pretty cool, she just kept saying "shh shh" for fish. My mom didn't have to work on Monday so I called her to see if she wanted to come. It was nice to have her a long. The kids love all of their grandparents and love spending time with them.

Flip House
I mentioned that we are flipping a house with Riley's parents. We bought it in December at auction and picked it up for the opening bid. Riley and his dad have put many hours into fixing it up. Riley's mom and I had the fun job of doing all of the cleaning, but when that was all done it was decided that I was a better help just staying home with the kids. (I was ok with this). It's not completely finished, but we had it on the market anyway. We just accepted a good offer on it today, we are pretty excited about it. Riley didn't want me put up any pictures of it on the blog because the people who lost the house are psycho.... and so for safety reasons not to put any up, maybe in a month or so when we don't own it anymore I will put the before and after pictures up.

so fun! The thought my white soft body in a suit right now doesn't sound so fun though. :)
Macy looks like a mini you in aquarium pic with her holding Hannah.
It's fun to see your new postings. I had fun with you guys on Monday. The funniest thing to me was when Spencer called the camo shark an army shark...too funny. it still makes me smile when I think of it. congrates on selling your first flip...maybe you're starting second career.
Sounds like you had a busy, but fun weekend. The pictures of the kids are really cute! That's exciting about the house selling so quickly!
I've always wanted to flip a house but I can't imagine how much work it must be.
Your pool pictures are making me start to crave spring. Im giving up on lots and lots of snow and going for the sun now.
I hope the sun starts shinning there for all of you soon too.
The aquarium is fun! Etano could have stood the whole time with his hand in the sting ray pool!
Would love to see the flipped house! How funny about the past psycho owners...tell us that story too...
Looks like you had a great weekend. Great news on our flip. Dawson and I want to do that some day. Any show that is on TV about flipping house we are addicted to.
