We were able to baptize Macy on July 12th. It turned out to be a perfect day to get baptized in the Provo River. We met at our house where Jesse gave a talk on baptism, then we headed over to the baptism site crossing our fingers that there were no fisherman there. Our good luck was holding up, no fisherman in site just a few eagles hanging out in their nest. The spirit was very strong and I know Macy was very prepared and very excited for this moment. Riley and Macy climbed into the river where he was able to baptize her. When Macy popped out of the water she was quite emotional. It was sweet. We then came back to our house, got Macy and Riley in dry clothes. Then grandpa Cardon gave a talk on confirmation. Grandma Cardon had made a cute quilt with Macy's name and baptism date embroidered onto it. After the confirmation we all ate ourselves sick with a BBQ. It was a special day that we were able to share with a lot of special people. Thanks everyone for coming and showing your support for Macy.

The Police
Riley and I were able to go see "The Police" last night. We had a lot of fun. It's always fun to go to concerts and people watch too. I had a memory of being in the seventh grade hanging out at Sharo's house calling KISZ 98 and requesting them to play "Every breath you take".

You had a houseful!! That's so neat that she got baptized outside!
The Police!! That's awesome!
Mom told me how nice the baptism was. I wish we could've been there!
The Police would be awesome to see live!
Thanks for having us up that Monday after, I am still sad we couldn't make it to baptism
What an awesome day for Macy. I can't beleive she is 8. You were pregnant with her when D and I first dated. Where has the time gone.
That is really cool that she was able to be baptized in the river. It is crazy to think you have an 8 year old. I am sorry we missed you on the 4th. It sounds like we were at the same places, just different times.
It sounds like Macy's baptism was really nice. I think it's so cute that she was emotional when she came out of the water. I wish we could have seen you on the 4th of July. I think the last time I saw you was when Macy was a baby. A group of us girls got together at Chili's in Salt Lake. I remember it, because you were feeding Macy baby food with a medicine dropper. Somehow the food missed Macy's mouth and shot off across the table! I can't remember if it hit any one or not!
I can't believe you have a kid that old!! Congrats on being such great parents! I looked like a neat day!
Glad I'm not the only one who can't let go of old bands-We just went to Def Leopard, Styx, Reo & Speedwagon. I think we were the youngest people there...It was too much fun!
I was just thinking about Riley yesterday at church when we were talking about how you can't think your way into a conversion, but only through the Spirit. I love that picture of Riley baptizing Macy and how amazing it is to see him hold the Priesthood and be able to do do that for his daughter! I can't believe "my niece" is 8! That blows my mind! Time slips by to fast. Nic is going to be so jealous you saw the police! I tried to win tickets, but I guess so was the rest of the Salt Lake valley...hence, I didn't win!
What a wonderful event to share with your family. Macy is such a sweetheart...we all love her so much! Thanks for the great time. I love you Macy
Melanie, What a neat experience for Macy to get baptised in the provo river! Cool! She is a cute girl! All of your vacations sound like a lot of fun also! The Risto family is always on the go. What fun memories!
