D- day is upon us

I went to my doctor last Wednesday and he finally consented to inducing me. He has had reservations about inducing me because I have had a C-sections before, but the pros finally out weighed the cons.
1. I live 45 minutes away from the hospital and my last labor was 4 hours total.
2. I'm positive for strep B so it will give me enough time to be on an antibiotic, which I didn't have enough time to be on when I was in labor with Hannah.
3. And the whole fluid issue that I have been dealing with for a couple of weeks now will be resolved.
So Thursday morning I have to call the hospital at 6 am when they will let me know what time I can go in and get the process under way. We are excited to get this baby girl here safe and sound. It's nice that I have a plan now. I was a little nervous about what to do with my other kids at home when I went into labor in the middle of the night, now I don't have to worry. Riley's mom is going to be coming up on Wednesday night and will stay until my mom gets here on Saturday. Aundrea also is going to be coming in the following Wednesday. I'm grateful for all of these ladies and for all of their help. Also thanks to my friend Maria who has always been so willing to help watch Hannah during my doctor's appointments and Kim who helps out with watching Spencer and helping him get to school. They have all made my life a lot easier. I'm grateful for good family and friends.
So Thursday March 5th will be this babies birthday and we still don't have a name!

I'm glad the Dr. finally saw things your way. You must have been pretty persuasive:)

Congrats Mel! Induction sounds easier to me as well. I'm about 20 minutes from our hospital and I was only there 16 minutes before I delivered Ava. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to be induced as well.

I can't believe you are due so soon. Everyone's pregnancies fly by but my own. Good luck with everything, that is so exciting. I am curious to see what name you guys decide on..

Now, Mel lets not get hasty. These babies have a mind of their own, her birthday could easily be March 4 if she is a fast mover or March 6 if she is a stinker. If it is March 6th and you have been in labor for that long I would name her stinker. We are excited for you and will miss seeing you guys ona regular basis.

Congrats!! I hope that everything go well for you. I was induced with A & L and it was so nice to know the day and to be able to plan ahead a little. I can't wait to see pics of your little one.

Good Luck! I love being induced! I'm a planner and hate surprises! Can't wait to hear what you name her! I asked my Matti what you should name your baby and she thought Hannah Montana would be a great name, I told her too bad she already has a Hannah!
