2 Week Review

EASTER

We are closing on our flip home today, so over Easter weekend we had to finish up all of the work on the house. We were up at the house Saturday-Monday working hard. But we did manage to color some eggs on Saturday night with Grandma Debbie. Then on Sunday morning we had an Easter egg hunt and the kids had fun looking through their baskets. Hannah is such a candy FREAK! We had to keep all of the the baskets high so she couldn't sneak anymore candy.

SKIING

Macy and Spencer didn't have school the Friday before Easter because the term ended, so Riley took a half day so that we could take the kids skiing. We got a babysitter for Hannah and hit the slopes. We had a lot of fun, I have never seen Deer Valley so busy.

THE PROPHET LOVES OUR UTAH JAZZ

We went to the Jazz game on Friday. We had the best seats I have ever had. We were center court and about six rows up. It was really fun. You could hear and see pretty much everything that went on. At the beginning of the 2nd quarter I noticed all of these people coming in that were all in their suits and dresses. I soon recognized President Monson. I looked at Riley and said "look President Monson." It was pretty cool. He had the best seats in the house. It was funny because when the loud music came on, or the Jazz dancers in their little outfits came out to dance I told Riley that I was feeling a little uncomfortable, he laughed and said he had the same feeling. President Monson was totally comfortable, talking to everyone that came up to him or laughing at the Bear. When he was coming back in from half time he even went and interrupted Coach Sloan talking with the team. The coach was surprised when they were in a huddle and someone comes and taps him on the shoulder and it's President Monson. He smiled and shook his hand and then President Monson was on his way. President Monson is in the 2nd row of the picture right in the middle.

RILEY'S BIRTHDAY

Riley turned 32 on Saturday. We just hung out at home during the day. He got a new stereo with an IPod attachment, so he kept himself busy hooking his new stereo up. He also took the old one downstairs and hooked that up and then rearranged all of his CD's downstairs. That night we went out to dinner with Micah and Josie, and Josh and Heather. We went to Mikados and had sushi. We had a good time just hanging out with our old friends.

IT was fun to see your flip house. I was impressed with how nice and big it is. How fun to have such good seats and get to see Pres Monson. I can just see him, being so friendly and nice to everyone. Remember when we used to see him at the Rodeo? It was fun having your kids over and sleep. They're a hoot! Glad you had fun celebrating Riley's b-day!

Does that mean the Jazz have a chance in the playoffs?? Why couldn't they have gone to the Jazz games when Stockton and Malone were still there? Hahaha. Bronson is a candy aholic too. I totally forgot about Riley's bday I hope it was good. I'm a huge loser!

Hannah looks so much like Riley! I'm sure that was so neat to see the Prophet at a Jazz game, what a fun surprise!
