Last night when I was making dinner, I took off my wedding rings so that I could put my hands in meat without getting my rings all gross. I don't know when she did it, but Hannah took my rings off of the counter without my knowledge. When I was getting ready for bed I was taking out my earrings and remembered that I left my rings on the counter. I went to go get them, but I couldn't find them anywhere. I accused Riley of taking them to play a joke on me, nope. I started getting pretty stressed out. We stayed up for an hour and a half looking for them with no success. I was so tired last night but I couldn't stop thinking about my lost ring. I was even having dreams about where they were. I was feeling especially guilty because we had just upgraded my ring for our 10 year anniversary. I had only had them for 5 months. Well first thing this morning I start the exhausting task of looking in every nook and cranny, especially in the kitchen. I looked in the kitchen garbage four times, saying a constant prayer of please give me a clue of where they could be. About 2:00 in the afternoon I was out talking to my neighbor I was saying I just need to relax because I'll probably find them when I'm not trying. My neighbor started walking home and I was walking to my mailbox and see a little sparkle in the grass. There they were just laying there. I had walked by that spot probably three times. I said Hallelujah picked them up, and have been a happy camper ever since. The funny part of the story is that Riley was talking to his friend and costumer who is also the jeweler that we got the rings from. Riley was saying he felt dumb about saying a prayer over diamonds, and Ken agreed. A few minutes later I called Riley and told him that I had found the rings, he then calls Ken who says not even two minutes ago I said a prayer that you would find the rings. He had nothing to gain but another sale on a new ring for me. What an awesome guy.

I'm so glad you found them! I can't believe she got them outside. They are beautiful rings, I would've been freaking out too!
That is the cutest culprit I've ever seen. I'm so glad you found that beautiful ring. You and Grandma Cardon have a cool diamond ring story in common. You'll have to ask her about when she lost the diamond out of her ring on a football field. I miss you guys!
Yay! I'm glad you found them!
How stressful! That's also neat that your jeweler said a prayer and then they were found!
I would have been super stressed out too! I can't believe they were outside. Good thing it wasn't snowy outside. Your ring looks amazing! Glad you found it!
