I now have about 6 weeks before this baby is due. Riley and I have known we are having another girl now for quite awhile and we still have not come up with a baby name or more like Riley will not help me come up with a name. When I was pregnant with Hannah we had some problems coming up with a name so I bought one of those baby name books. 90% of the book is crap, but there are a few cute names. Well yesterday I dug the book out and started looking through it. I wrote down some suggestions in the back of the book just like I had done with Hannah, then handed the book over to Riley and told him to do the same. Now I have not been able to get Riley to have a serious discussion about baby names this whole pregnancy. He is like another one of my kids when it comes to this. His favorite name he has suggested is Sprained......Sprained Risto...get it? Hahaha. So anyway I give him the book and these are a few of the names he has suggested Eglantine, Garnock, Gunhilda and Desdemonia. Like I said most of the names in the book are crap and he had to pick the cream of the crop. I told him if he cannot get serious about finding a name for this child his fatherly rights of helping choose a name are going to be forfeited. He is very adamant that he will also like the name. Too bad so sad, if you don't put in any effort your not going to get the result you want. I am not in panic mode quite yet, but I just remember how it was when we had Hannah. We were asking the nurses if they had heard any cute baby names, bickering, and finally right before it was time to leave the hospital we decided out of all the names we had suggested to each other we both liked Hannah enough. I don't know if either of us loved it, but we liked it enough. Now I actually love the name Hannah. So if any of you have any suggestion for baby names we will take in to consideration any serious offers. Thank you

I always liked the following names: Leah, Lily, Chloe, and Buffy. i had to thro one in there for Riley. Malia was too young to play basketball, but Ty was the coach so they let her play.
Loved the names Riley came up with! I can't believe they were actual names. K-I don't want to give up any names in case I have another girl (which I find out in a week), but a name that Kristi told me (that took a little while to grow on me) and now I love, but my husband doesn't, is Delaney. Spell it any way you'd like. Just think about it. I didn't like it at first. There's so many cute names out there, it's just hard finding the name that feels right. How 'bout Manon?
Mel, I'm so glad I'm not alone. I'm due in two weeks and in the same boat...I have to twist Colby's arm to get him to talk about it. We've talked about in once! Period. A name I like that Colby doesn't is Shay. After we name our baby, I'll give you the others on my list.
Come to think of it, how often will these kids see each other? Here's my short and pathetic list, but it's all I've got. Ava, Lauren, Kellen, Anne, Kate, Julia
not very often do others like the names I suggest so really I won't be offended if you just laugh at my list but here goes- Delaney as Bev mentioned is one of my favs, I also like Remington (nickname Remi but you have the same problem I did with the name it really doesn't go with a last name that starts with R) and I've started to think about Ainsley lately and really like it. The fact that I'm giving you these proves that I'm done having kids.
I too, went through a baby name book and wrote down every girl name in there that I liked. Paul is like Riley in that he is undecided and really doesn't feel much like putting too much effort into it just yet. Anyway...these are the names I liked and feel free to use any of them if you like them as well. (It really doesn't bother me at all to have the same kids names.)
Mya, Mia, Kate, Chloe, Molly, Lily, Olivia, Brook, Lia, Sophie, Bree, Drew, Halie, Lacy, and Addy.
Good luck, I hope you find a name you like!
P.S. These are my picks that Paul doesn't agree with.
2 boys- Owen and Noah
2 girls- Chloe and Kate
1 boy 1 girl- Owen and Lily
I can't believe you are already due that soon. Other people's pregnancies fly by! I really like the name Gwen, I may use it if I have another girl in the future but obviously wouldn't care if you love it!
My vote is for Tess.
I thought of one more. I've always loved the name Riley for a girl so I think you should name her after her dad, haha jk I know Riley would be against that. I actually knew a little girl named Bryce before I married Jeremy and that name totally grew on me so I thought about naming a girl that until I married Jeremy and then he nixed the idea of having a daughter with his dad's name. Good luck though, obviously she'll be so cute that no matter what you name her it will be a cute name.
Wow, I feel the same way. I have 8 weeks left and we are having our third girl!! So far we've come up with Elaine and we'll call her Ellie...but that's about it and we aren't set in stone at all...
I can't wait to see what you decide
Hey I just heard a cute name yesterday: Jaley. Girl names are so hard! I'm completely out of them. But lots of good suggestions on here. Just go for a family name. Name her Marcia-could call her Marci!
I love that Bev suggested Marcia:) As you know I love Jayne!
